BFI FLARE 2015
London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival relaunched in 2014 as BFI FLARE.
In keeping with the new name I was tasked with taking the spirit of the festival and embodying it in an image. Working with photographer Vanessa Lockett we photographed a model painted in UV body paint and the resulting striking photos were used across the whole campaign, posters, brochure, website and social media.
BFI Releases film posters
Au Revoir les Enfants, An Autumn Afternoon, Ordet, Gone WIth The Wind
Recent commissions from the BFI include these film posters. The brief was to work with the existing iconic imagery already associated with the films and to give them a contemporary twist to attract a new audience.
London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival 2008
I was responsible for the art direction and design for the brand identity for the LLGFF including a poster campaign and brochure. The concept was to represent the diversity of the audience without being specific so I came up with the idea of identifying people by their footwear.
BFI Film Season posters
A selection of campaign posters for film seasons at the NFT while I was working there as Senior Graphic Designer.
I designed a 36 page book and detailed financial information supplement for the National Theatre. The illustration on the cover was inspired by the building when it is illuminated at night and gave the report a bold, new look while keeping true to the NT's brand.
Case for Support Document
A 32 page book highlighting the work of the NT and laying out their ambitious plans for their future to potential funders.
Branding, Print, Web
Hidden Treasures is a project run by the Collections Trust which brings Museums and Galleries together through events and workshops that showcase items in their collections not usually on display to the public. After a very successful first year they needed a new brand and print collateral to raise their profile. I worked with another designer Rachael Lightowler to design a logo and brand for the project, which was very successful.
Branding, Merchandise, print, web
Pinkstinks is a campaign that targets the products, media and marketing that prescribe heavily stereotyped and limiting roles to young girls. I have been involved since the beginning designing their logo, merchandise print and web collateral.
Wellcome Book Prize
Branding, Invitation, Booklet
Identity design and printed collateral for the inaugural Wellcome Trust Book Prize, a literature prize that celebrates the topics of health and medicine in literature. I designed the print for the launch, which included a booklet and a concertina fold invitation with foil-embossed end cards.
