Packaging Design

The Lake District Honey Company produce honey from 500 honeybee colonies in the Lake District. There are four different varieties of honey; Heather, Wildflower, Blossom and Blended.

The location of the hives is key to flavour so this was key in the design of the labels. I used a Capability Brown drawing of the area for the background and used gold foil as a highlight to accent the river, and make the jars as desirable as the honey inside.
